Estimation of Kumaraswamy Distribution Parameters Using the Principle of Maximum Entropy

This paper proposes using maximum entropy approach to estimate the parameters of Kumaraswamy distribution subject moment constraints. [7] introduced double pounded probability density function which was originally used model hydrological phenomena. It mentioned that this is applicable bounded natural phenomena have values on two sides. The share several properties with beta and it has extra advantages possesses a closed form function, but remained unknown most statisticians until developed by Jones [6] as beta-type some tractability in particular fairly simple quantile explicit formula for L-Moment. Using principle propose new estimators compared likelihood Bayesian estimation methods. A simulation study performed investigate performance terms their mean square errors efficiency.
